Blepharoplasty

Common Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery) Questions

Typically, cosmetic procedures are not covered by insurance. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to ascertain the extent of coverage and to be aware of any applicable deductibles.

Precautions are implemented to ensure your comfort during the procedure, including local anesthesia with optional sedation. After the procedure, discomfort can be alleviated with post-operative care including ice and over-the-counter Tylenol.

Symptoms can include inability to close the eye, excessive watering of the eye, and a drooping or sagging appearance. Treatment is based on each patient’s underlying cause.
